The Information Management Academic Group is concerned with advanced thinking on some of the most important management issues of today. Together, the technologies and the ideas of the digital world are transforming management practice, business and society at large. Through our teaching and our research, we aim to put audiences in touch with the latest ideas, possibilities and critique of the changes that confront us.

Through the work of our group, and the cross-campus Centre for Information Management, we have established key research positions related to Artificial Intelligence, Ethics, Social Media, Big Data, Digital Archives, User Experience and other topics. We welcome applications from researchers who want to bring their own enthusiasm and expertise to our classrooms, workshops and research programmes.

The Information Management Group publishes its research in high quality academic journals and the appointee must be able to demonstrate that they are undertaking significant research. The Information Management Group is seeking to make an appointment at Lecturer(Assistant Professor) /Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) level. Applications that are already aligned to the group’s key specialisms will be welcomed but so too will new complementary areas of research. As an equal opportunities employer, we particularly welcome applications from women, who are underrepresented in this discipline at these levels. All appointments will be made on merit of skill and experience relative to the role.

The closing date for applications is 31 October, 2021. For informal enquiries, please contact Professor Peter Kawalek, Head of Academic Group. For more information and to apply see: https://www.lboro.ac.uk/join-us/outstanding/business-economics/
