Dr. Sanjay Sharma, from The University of Vermont, USA, will be presenting his work on Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility.

Dr. Sanjay Sharma will be discussing the following papers:

• Academy of Management Review 2003. A Contingent resource Based View of Proactive Environmental Strategy. 
  This is a theory building paper that develops a contingency model linking dynamic capabilities and environmental strategy. Cited 1233 times as per Google Scholar.
• Strategic Management Journal. 1998. Proactive environmental strategy and the development of competitively valuable organizational capabilities.
  This is a pioneering theory development and empirical paper that is the first test of the resource-based view of the firm. Cited 1781 times as per Google Scholar.
• Organization and Environment. 2014. Beyond Saddlebag Sustainability for Business Education.
  This is a very short article that expounds a pedagogical philosophy for sustainability education in business. We adopted this philosophy and our Sustainable Entrepreneurship MBA Program was ranked #4 in the US by Princeton review last year.
